Rumors by Neil Simon is a fast-paced farce about a group of wealthy couples who gather to celebrate the 10th wedding anniversary of New York’s deputy mayor, Charley Brock, and his wife Myra.

When the first guests arrive, they discover Charley injured and unconscious with a gunshot wound in the ear, while Myra has mysteriously disappeared. Afraid of scandal that could ruin Charley’s political career, the guests decide to hide the truth. As more couples arrive, the lies grow more complicated, misunderstandings multiply, and the situation spirals into chaotic comedy fueled by rumors, panic, and absurd attempts to maintain appearances.
